Jerrick Manswell

Welcome to my engineering portfolio. I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Olivet Nazarene University.

My interests lie in mechanical design, power transmission systems, and manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on automotive and aerospace applications. I am passionate about hands-on engineering such as machining, fabrication, and testing mechanical systems. I enjoy bridging the divide between digital design and physical implementation, taking components from CAD models to manufactured and tested assemblies.

I have gained a lot of engineering experience from taking part in the 2024-2025 Baja SAE season, where I designed, analyzed, and manufactured drivetrain components, including a custom transfer case, wheel hubs, and chassis structures. These projects allowed me to apply mechanical design principles, perform stress analysis, and ensure manufacturability while solving real-world engineering challenges.

Beyond Baja SAE, I have further developed my skills through small engine rebuilding and mechanical troubleshooting, experiences that strengthened my technical problem-solving ability and practical engineering knowledge. This portfolio highlights my design, analysis, and manufacturing work, showcasing my ability to approach engineering problems with both technical precision and creativity
